Its nice to go back to a place where you feel like it had been a great part of your life and development. The memories of the past lingers with me as I enter this place where I first find the courage to face the world outside.
I was the typical shy young guy then, who would rather sit at the back of the raw and would spoil my saliva by not talking to my co students. I would not socialize and be so scared of the bullies that are running around trying to pitch my foods and school supplies. Grade 1 to 4 was my worst years of studies, I didn't perform well all because of these and my other fears. I was always absent and pretend to be sicked just to skip school.
It was Mrs Baccay who assured me that I am a good student...Through her help, I gain confidence. I started to draw courage from my inner strength. She helped me realized my worth as a student and as a person which resulted attention and respect from my peers, teacher and handlers years after.
Now that she is facing a new chapter of her life with her bigger responsibilities as the new Consultant for grade 1 level and soon best Chachoi told me that she'll be a principal. I was invited to join in this celebration... I would wanted to be part of it because I believe that our connection did not stop when I went out of that school to further my studies... (She would definitely be there in my wedding...as she had requested...Ninang cia he he)
